Tips and secrets tricks to sell your brand of clothes. (Part II)
You have
started your own clothing line and you (desperately) need a boost in your sales in time the season? No worries, this article should help you out define a sales plan and sell all your clothes.
The sales goals need to be specific and measurable, not something like
selling a million t-shirts. It should be more realistic and involve a timeframe, such as selling five hundred t-shirts to small retailers in the next three months.
To market your clothing line,
the sales activities, at first, should be as varied as possible such as door to door sales, website promotion and
fashion shows. The best possible list of sales activities include a large number of different activities which are all working at the same time.
The idea is to compare all sales activities later on to determine which one works the best.
Timelines: Put dates to all of the above elements so you can define your steps within a realistic timeline. Don't forget that your timelines should be fluid. That way, if you are underachieving, your sales plan will help you figure out why and decide the corrective steps you need to take.
The targeted clients list should be realistic and include small retailers rather than large national clothing companies. We'll get to the big fish later (in part III).
Build up and grow your clothing business
Building your fan base (creating your market) begins by selling directly to end-users, the people who will wear your t-shirts, jeans, caps, jackets etc...
This will give you very valuable information about your clothing line such as which item is the most sold, in which size and in which area for instance.
Knowing your market is key to feeding your buyers with the garments they like.
Because selling, buying and wearing clothes is seasonal you need to develop an instinct on what works and what doesn't. You might get to that stage after two or three seasons.
Using online clothing stores to reach the final users is very effective. A great advantage is that you collect the contact details of people who visit your shop and what they buy online.

amplify your selling power.
